Due to the shortage of both doctors and medicines in the remote mountains where the Naxi people live, the ADCA, in conjunction with Houputang Traditional Chinese Medicine, has provided medical assistance to the few remaining old Dongba priests who can still read the Dongba script, as well as local villagers.
