A similar collection of travel accounts is the Histoire générale des voyages by Antoine François Prevost with maps designed by Jacques Nicolas Bellin. A Dutch translation in 21 volumes was published in the period 1747-1767, first by Pieter de Hondt in The Hague, later by a consortium of publishers in Amsterdam. For the Dutch edition the maps were copied by engraver Jacobus van der Schley. He took over the French titles and toponyms of the maps, but added a translated title in Dutch below and added Dutch translations of the scale bars and coordinates. In this series of travel accounts, maps of mainland Southeast-Asia, the coasts of Cochinchina and Tonkin and the Red River (Riviere de Tonquin) can be found.
