The separation in North- and South-Vietnam is indicated for the first time in the Bosatlas of 1964, the 43th edition of this prominent Dutch school atlas. Vietnam is coloured in two shades of green. A separate map of Vietnam, or at least mainland Southeast-Asia is not included in this atlas. Vietnam can be seen in most detail on the fold-out map of South-Asia, which covers the most of Asia, except (North-)Russia, Indonesia and the Philippines. Saigon-Cholon is indicated as the capital of South-Vietnam, for the North no capital city is mentioned.
